Beginner guide

You and up to five friends share one bank account and one debt. A bad all-in is everyone’s loss.
Each casino day gives you about five minutes to hit the quota. Since V1.0.30 you can change or disable that timer, but only before the save is created.
Hit quota, then stop raising bets. Tickets from the clear buy tomorrow’s item. Cosmetics can wait.
Assign a caller, a timer, and one item holder. Proximity chat means a shout from the other side of the floor does not land.
Leave Endless Mode off if you want an ending. The V1.0.30 notes say it blocks the ending achievements.
What you are walking into
The store calls it an online co-op “casino crawler.” The loop is smaller than that phrase sounds. You leave a neighborhood, enter a tower of four floors, and gamble a shared pile of cash against a daily quota. The store lists 17 games of chance, 15+ items, four floors, three endings, and a run that lasts around two to three hours.
Solo exists. The developer FAQ says it is possible and not advised. There is no public matchmaking. Invites are Steam friends only.
Checked against V1.0.30 Timer toggles, Endless Mode, and the per-save lock are from the 24 Jul 2026 patch notes.
Before you press New Game
An empty save slot has a cogwheel. V1.0.30 added rules there: casino timer on or off, timer length, difficulty (it scales the quota), starting money, and starting tickets. Endless Mode sits in the same menu.
Read that screen once. The patch notes say you cannot change those settings after the save exists, and each of the three slots can differ.
For a first clear, leave Endless Mode off. The same notes say it keeps you from seeing the ending and blocks the ending achievements. If you only want a longer casino night, use a different slot later.
The first day, in order
- Look at the neighborhood before you sprint to the elevator. The phone booth is where floor achievements come from. The shop is where tickets turn into items. The body shredder is an emergency, not a greeting.
- If you care about achievements on this save, accept a Phone Booth challenge before you enter. The feat by itself is not the unlock. The checklist is the whole rule.
- Inside, the default day is five minutes and the clock does not wait while you debate. One person calls the table. Everyone else either bets that plan or stays off the keypad.
- Cover the quota with small, repeatable bets. Color bets and short wheel spins are how a new crew stays alive. A single-number roulette bet is how a new crew donates the bank.
- When the quota is covered and you still have a cushion, stop raising. Extra profit is useful. An all-in after you are safe is optional and usually regretted.
- Back outside, spend tickets on one item you already have a plan for. Leave hats for a throwaway save. See accessories if fashion is the actual goal.
Three jobs, because proximity chat is literal
Voice only carries to people standing near you. A guide checked against V1.0.30 describes crews solving that by sending one person between tables. Use that as the split:
- Caller. Walks the floor, names the table, repeats the plan. This is the only voice everyone is guaranteed to hear, because they walk to the others.
- Timer. Watches the clock and says when the quota is safe. After that sentence, bigger bets need a reason.
- Item holder. The only person allowed to press the item. A Golden Chip in a pocket across the room is not a plan. Pickup and activation rules are on the items page.
With two people, the caller is also the item holder. With one person, you can still finish, and you will feel every mistake yourself.
What “tickets” are
The store text is the official version: hit the quota, finish challenges, or sell a body part, and you earn tickets. Tickets buy the sketchy items that bend a later day. They also buy cosmetics in the neighborhood, which do not help the quota.
Body parts are the panic button. Guides describe a Quota Gun that pays a chunk of the day’s quota per part shot off, and only while you are still under quota. The “about a third” figure is widely repeated and was not re-read from a current tooltip for this page, so treat the exact percent as Unverified. Buy the part back at the shredder later if you can. Do not open with it.
A first-run route that does not chase 100%
Day 1 is Floor 1 only. Learn one table well enough to hit quota twice in your head before you touch a second machine. Ignore Phone Booth challenges that say “lose on purpose” until a later day when the quota is already boring.
Floors do not open because you got rich on day 1. Community guides put Floor 2 on day 4, Floor 3 on day 7, and Floor 4 on day 10. That calendar is Unverified against a patch note, and it is explained on the floors page. Banking a huge day-1 profit does not skip the wait.
Day 13 is the ending, not another floor. If this save is the one you want credit for, read endings before you are standing at the ATM.
Common first-hour mistakes
- Creating the save, then discovering Endless Mode was on. The slot is stuck that way.
- Buying a cosmetic with the only tickets you have. The next day has no item.
- Two people all-in on different tables at once. The bank is shared. There is no “my money.”
- Doing a beautiful Plinko drop and wondering why the achievement is quiet. The booth was never accepted.
- Installing a random “online fix” because an invite failed. Use the official lobby path instead.
